Sunday 3rd December 2017 (Entry non-members of WWT £12.26/£9.17) Get away from the shopping hordes and seek out a real pre-Christmas treat. Situated right by the Thames near Hammersmith Bridge, this site provides a haven which attracts a wide variety of wild birds, including Bittern and Peregrine, and is always worth a visit, since rare and unusual birds often stop over. The resident Cetti’s Warblers are certainly not so shy here. A walk through the varied wildfowl collection is a bonus. Meet at 9.30 a.m. at the entrance: TQ 226767 / SW13 9SA
