Day trip by car to Titchfield Haven

The reserve, looking inland from the sea-front

Thursday 17th September, 2020

We may not have group access to the reserve, but we can watch part of it from the sea-front and there is still a great deal of good birding habitat in the beach, on the Solent, along the canal path and along Brownwich Cliffs. At passage time, many species of waders, passerines, terns and raptors gather at this coastal launch pad. It is an excellent time to look for Bearded Tits. There are often interesting sea birds on the Solent.

Meet at 9.30 a.m. on Meon sea-front (SU535023 / PO14 3JT)
