Habitat maps
TVERC habitat mapping allocated most of Berkshire’s land area to 45 Phase 1 habitat categories that we have amalgamated to show ten main classes of land cover to provide the habitat overlays for the tetrad distribution maps.
The areas of each habitat class contained in each of the tetrads in which at least 25% of the area is within Berkshire are shown in the Tetrad Habitat Analysis table in the Data Archive.
Topography
The relief and drainage of Berkshire into the Thames is shown, together with the contour map of the county available as a distribution map overlay.
