The Birds of Berkshire Atlas Group (BBAG) was created in 2004 to plan and manage the Berkshire surveys for the county and national atlases in 2007-11 and to revise and update the previous Berkshire Atlas and Avifauna that had been based on surveys 20 years earlier.
