This trip will visit the reserve on the west side of the harbour, where the Ferry Pool and its surrounds often attracts a variety of birds. At this season incoming migration can bring all sorts of passerines and waders such as Whimbrel (photo) to this important area, which is famed for its rare species. Medmerry is a newly-created marshland reserve at Selsey and was where a pair of Stilts successfully raised young in 2015. This is a good chance to get to know the area and you can guarantee a quite different menu from that of January.
Cost £20
